TOASTMASTERS INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT 55, DIVISION H Last Updated June 19, 2008
Toastmasters has over 220,000 members in 11,300 clubs in over 90 countries around the world. They are organized into Nine Regions (we are in Region III), Districts (we are in District 55), Divisions (we are Division H), Areas (there are 5 Areas in Division H), Clubs (there are 1100 clubs in Region III, 635 clubs in Texas and 24 Clubs in Division H) and most important - Members (there are approximately 2406 members in District 55 and 536 members in Division H).
Division H's theme is "The Helpers". Our motto is "Click "help" for member support". The entire Division soars like eagles at all Toastmaster club meetings and gatherings.
Each Area is supported by an Area Governor. This is the Division H, Area Governor hangout place. The Division Governor posts useful information here often.
Congratulations! We are a President's Distinguished Division and y'all did it. Each club member in Division H helped, led by you great Area Governors. The icing on the cake was our new club, but there could be more by June 30th. Jack is hard at work over there trying to convince Sabor to Charter. It will happen. Great work!
Things To Be Doing Now
1. Contact each of your clubs that have not submitted an officer list and ask them to do it. Remind them that they should select new officers and post them on the TI website by June 30, 2008.
2. Contact each of your clubs and try to get them to add some members. Just a few each club would really help the club greatly and do well for the Area, Division, and the District also.
3. Contact each of your clubs and shake the trees for educational and leadership awards. Lots of people are sitting on an award or two. You just have to ask and they might post it.
